How the estimate works

Runtime ≈ battery Wh × efficiency ÷ average watts. A refrigerator, air conditioner or pump cycles on and off, so its nameplate wattage may not equal its average draw over an hour.

It is a conservative planning factor for AC loads. Real efficiency can be higher or lower depending on the inverter, load size and operating conditions.
